A: FALL 2020 Rentals are due December 10th, 2020. Please click here for more information on how to return.
A: We have a no-risk rental which means your full rental price can be applied to the purchase price at the end of the semester.
A: You have until August 28th, 2020 to return for a full refund. That gives you a chance to attend a full week of classes and decide if you need the item or not.
A: Yes, normal use of writing/highlighting in the book is allowed. Excessive highlighting or writing can result in the rental being deemed damaged. Rentals that are damaged upon return are subject to a damage fee.

A: We require a debit/credit card to be held on file in case the rental is not returned.
Q: How much does it cost to pickup my order in-store/curbside or shipped?
A: In-store & Curbside pickup is always FREE. Shipping is currently free for orders over $25. For orders under $25, shipping will be a flat rate fee of $8.
Q: How long does it take to process/ship my order?
A: During business hours, online orders are processed/shipped throughout each day.
Q: How long does it take to get my order if I ship my books?
A: With our shipping, orders will typically be delivered in 1-3 business days. Due to inclement weather & covid-19 delays, this shipping time may be longer than normal.
Q: What if I'm not in town to buy/rent my textbooks?
A: We're open 24/7/365 online at volstatebooks.com! You can also call us @ (615) 230 - 0502 during normal store hours to place a phone order!
Q: What are your store hours?
A: Our normal store hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. At the beginning and end of each semester, we will be open extended hours. You can view the current store hours here!
Q: What if I can not make it to the store during operating hours to return my rental?
A: We have a 24/7 Drop Box available on our storefront. You can also find more rental return options here!
